Iʻm pretty spiritual and I really do believe that Art is another form of Prayer.
I really feel that music has not only healed me but it can heal the entire world.
I am a Singer, Songwriter, Producer, Publisher, Founder of Haku Collective, and a MOTHER.
In this video I share my story of starting out in my career, my life as a new mother, and why I started Haku Collective. I want girls especially to see that you can be a mom and still be out there doing what you gotta do. They totally have what it takes to be that bad ass business women themselves and still raise a family.
In 2018, I had my first child, 'Ōmealani and a few career highlights including winning Female Vocalist of the Year and Song of the Year for "Bamboo" at the Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards and also Female Solo Artist of the Year at the Island Music Awards. Now in 2019, and as I prepare to have my second child in just a few more weeks, I reflect back on my mama journey and I smile because I know itʻs just getting started. I hope youʻll enjoy this video. Let me know what you think or any things that work for you when juggling a family with multiple children.
